The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about important environmental, health & safety (EHS) issues.

Phoenix, AZ -- Today, the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video.  Their newest production provides information about naturally occurring asbestos (NOA) and ways to minimize exposure risks.

Naturally occurring asbestos refers to the mineral as a natural component of soils or rocks as opposed to asbestos found in commercial products, mining or processing operations,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates, the company behind the IAQ Video Network.  “Human activities, such as construction, or natural weathering processes can release fibers from NOA into the air creating health concerns. We hope this new video helps to shed some light on naturally occurring asbestos and ways to mitigate exposure risks for those who live or work in areas known to have NOA.”

This educational video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public’s health. Sponsors include: EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental, Indoor Environmental Consultants, Hudson Douglas Public Adjusters and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name just a few.
