Jane has a keen interest in modelling of groundwater flow and contaminant transport, contaminant hydrogeology and groundwater resources assessment and development – areas which complement the main interests of Mike Quint, ESI’s Director of Human Health Risk Services, and strengthen the London team at a key time in the expansion of the office.

Commenting on the appointment, Mark Fermor, Managing Director of ESI Ltd explained: ”Jane Dottridge is a highly respected leading groundwater specialist and we are delighted to welcome her to ESI. She has a strong track record in providing practical advice to clients to assist with management of difficult contamination issues across a wide range of industries and her expertise brings a further depth to ESI’s team. Jane’s 30 years of groundwater and contaminated land experience includes work on numerous water resources and remediation projects, involving investigation, interpretation and modelling in the UK and overseas. She also works as a peer reviewer and as an advisor to the Environment Agency.

Prior to working with Komex, Jane was Senior Lecturer in Hydrogeology at University College London and previously a Senior Hydrogeologist / Groundwater Modeller at Mott MacDonald.
