New video of latest noise dosemeter released
As Pulsar Instruments launch their new personal noise dosemeter, they have released a new video to introduce their latest innovation.
Pulsar Instruments (UK), the leading manufacturer of occupational noise measurement products, has released a video of its latest innovation: The NoisePen, a new personal noise dosemeter for lone workers.
The video introduces the new tiny monitoring device and demonstrates how it can benefit businesses that wish to measure and register accurate data about workers' personal noise exposure during an entire shift. Pulsar NoisePen is ideal for operatives who carry out varied tasks as part of their work or move from one place to the other such as in warehouses or in vehicle cabins and who cannot be monitored by a safety officer standing next to them with a traditional hand-held sound level meter.
The NoisePen is a powerful companion for any compliant noise risk assessments in a work environment. Amongst other things, it measures LAeq, LCPeak or LZPeak. It has a measurement range of 70-140dB(A) - 90dB(C) to 143dB(C). It has enough memory to store 20 x 8hr shifts at storage of 1s for both Peak and Integrator (160hrs at 1s storage rate.
It meets fully IEC 61252:1993 and ANSI S1.25 standards.
Finally, it is designed and manufactured entirely in the UK.
