cellQART Cell Culture Inserts are compatible with all standard well-plates and support research and development across a broad range of tissue engineering and cell studies. The patented designs are:
- Made with PET membranes, pore size ranges from 0.4 μm - 8 μm
- RNase/DNase free
- Designed with operator comfort in mind for ease of use
Inserts are available in 6-well (4.5 cm²), 12-well (1.1 cm²), and 24-well (0.3 cm²) sizes.
PET membranes available are:
- Clear - which permits sufficient optical transparency for visualization of cell outlines by phase-contrast microscopy.
- Translucent - with high pore density allowing maximum diffusion of materials between the insert and receiver plate.
For custom orders associated with highly-specialized applications, black PET membranes are also available. This unique membrane blocks >99% of light transmission from 400 to 700 nm and is characterized by very low autofluorescence properties.
