RCS drives innovation with new Technical Resource Centre
RCS Energy Management has opened a new technical resource centre in Newbury.
The company’s product, technical and research teams have all relocated to the new facility at 30 Kingfisher Court, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 5SJ.
RCS’ repair and business support functions moved last year to the Maxey Moverley headquarters in Redditch, one of the largest dedicated service and repair facilities of its kind in Europe.
Centres of Excellence
Director Andrew Beckett said: “The new technical resource centre at 30 Kingfisher Court is the final step in a re-positioning which aligns the RCS business more closely to our customers’ developing requirements.
“By relocating the support functions to our group repair centre in 2015 we created an unrivalled centre of excellence for the nationwide service and repair of not only the monitoring, control and detection technologies for which RCS is best known, but also the security and retail electronics for which Maxey Moverley is already market leader.
“This 100% service focus provides incredible technical and logistical advantages for key RCS service customers.
“Now the new technical resource centre in Newbury has been created to provide similar focus for our increasingly research-led technical operations.
“This new facility has allowed us to bring together our product and development teams to enable a much stronger multi-disciplinary focus across monitoring and control.”
