ECO Oxygen Technology is slated to present at the 2016 Tri-State Seminar in Las Vegas, September 20-22, 2016. Inken Mello will discuss “City of Scottsdale Opts for Oxygen for Odor Control” on Tuesday, September 20 in the Wastewater Collection Track (Sonoma A&B, Session 1602).
Tri-State Seminar attracts water, stormwater and wastewater professionals from California, Arizona and Nevada for several days of professional development. The seminar provides training and certification classes.
Mello will discuss our five-system installation for the City of Scottsdale, Arizona in “City of Scottsdale Opts for Oxygen for Odor Control” on Tuesday, September 20 in the Wastewater Collections Track (Sonoma A&, Session 1602).
“I’m excited to once again have the opportunity to speak at the Tri-State Seminar, especially since the idea for the Scottsdale project originated here exactly eight years ago. The Tri-State Seminar is a very well attended and informative event and the 50 minute presentation slots give the speaker the chance to go into some of the details of a project instead of just giving a broad overview,” said Mello, ECO2 Director of Sales & Marketing.
During her presentation Mello will talk about how the City of Scottsdale project went from an idea eight years ago to the five SuperOxygenation Systems now installed in there. ECO2 competed with a number of companies offering traditional chemicals during City’s quest to find the best solution for improving odor control while reducing hydrogen sulfide production. ECO2 was selected following evaluation of contenders during a full odor control study that included effectiveness as well as each system’s advantages and disadvantages, carbon footprint and 25-year net present worth analysis.
“Our work with Scottsdale is a great example of how ECO2’s SuperOxygenation Systems provide an effective, environmentally sound alternative for mitigating biological odors,” said Mello.
