TITECH will demonstrate new applications of its world-class sorting technology, highlighting its adaptability in providing solutions to meet this market’s ever-evolving requirements.
One of the applications involves the use of X-ray technology to successfully separate organic and inorganic materials and will be of particular interest to companies generating methane from organic materials derived from mixed waste streams. TITECH’s x-tract system scans the input stream and removes non-organic contaminants (e.g. aggregate, glass) that could either damage the digestor equipment or adversely affect the efficiency of the process by displacing target organic materials.
Another application is metals sorting, where the market currently demands very high quality metal fractions. Companies working in the fields of ELV and WEEE sorting will be able to talk to TITECH’s experts on stand B202 about the benefits the TITECH combisense system offers in recovering valuable metals at very high levels of purity.
Carlos Manchado Atienza, Managing Director of TITECH España, comments: “TITECH continues to invest in new innovations and development, ensuring that we can consistently offer the best technology available to recover and sort recyclables and achieve high purity and efficiency rates.
“EcoCity not only provides a great platform to showcase the solutions on offer from TITECH, but also to discuss with our industry partners ways in which we can innovate further to assist their work and continue to provide solutions that reflect customers’ needs.”
