Soilworks Continues Its Support of the Environment with its Patented Line of Eco-Friendly Dust Control Products
Phoenix, Arizona -- With Earth Day on April 22, Soilworks’ environmentally-friendly products continue to be used by professionals in the construction, mining, military and energy sectors to preserve air quality, save energy, limit use of natural resources and lower costs of completing various dust control projects.
Soilworks, the leading supplier of dust control and soil stabilization products, continues to forge an environmentally friendly path for the dust control industry with its environmentally safe and non-toxic dust control solutions.
Its recent introduction of the patented gas-to-liquid (GTL) technology in its Durasoil dust control product produces the purest, greenest and most effective synthetic dust suppression fluid in the world.

“It’s important to us as a company that we leave a legacy of responsibility and transparency,” said Chad Falkenberg, founder of Arizona-based Soilworks. “It’s a goal that we’ve worked toward since I founded the company and one that I’m proud to say we’re succeeding at accomplishing today.”
Since 2003, Soilworks has been dedicated to creating biodegradable products the industrial world could trust and use without hesitation. Those products, now used worldwide by a variety of industries, include levels of innovation that can’t be found elsewhere.
Soilworks has lab and field-tested each of its products, resulting in a high-quality line of solutions that are the safest and greenest on the market.
“Our industry needs the transparency and environmental sensitivity to create products that are safe to use,” Falkenberg said. “And that starts with lab-based science.”
Soilworks’ products are resilient with long-lasting results. They are also eco-safe, water resistant, ultraviolet-ray resistant, non-flammable and are safe for humans, animals, vegetation and marine life.
One example, Falkenberg said, is his company’s premiere dust control product, Durasoil. Now made with Soilworks’ new, patented gas-to-liquid (GTL) technology, Durasoil is a synthetic dust control fluid made from clean, affordable and abundant natural resources. It is designed with non-petroleum properties to help control dust on job sites, even in the most extreme situations by “wetting out” soil. The result is a re-workable solution that coats and agglomerates dust particles and weighs them down.
Soilworks’ Soiltac product was created for projects that require solid soil stability. When applied to soil, the solution creates a three-dimensional cap or surface crust and can be applied more heavily to generate qualities that are similar to cement. By adjusting the application rate, Soiltac can remain effective from weeks to several years.
