SSI Shredding Systems is Featured in a New, 13-part TV Series On Science Channel Beginning November 2013
Wilsonville, OR -- A new, weekly television series titled 'Mega Shredders' begins airing on Science Channel Nov. 7, 2013. Each episode explores challenges and solutions experienced by industrial shredder manufacturer SSI Shredding Systems, Inc. of Wilsonville, Oregon.
SSI Shredding Systems, Inc., a global manufacturer of industrial shredding and size-reduction equipment, is the focus of a new, original television series airing Thursday evenings at 8:00pm on Science Channel in the United States. The TV series is called 'Mega Shredders' and is produced by Yap Films of Toronto, Canada. The 'Mega Shredders' show consists of 13, half-hour episodes that follow members of the SSI Shredding Systems team as they overcome a multitude of unforeseen challenges in the rarely seen world of industrial shredding.
Each week, 'Mega Shredders' viewers gain a glimpse into the day-to-day challenges of industrial equipment engineering, manufacturing, and service as SSI team members travel the globe to help their customers. Episodes will showcase a variety of shredding and size reduction applications from dramatic tsunami debris cleanup in Japan, to urban mining of precious metals found in electronic scrap, to extreme, unforgiving conditions of molten copper and sulfuric acid shredding.
