July 2018 -- Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments will present the all new TD-560 Oil in Water Analyzer at this year's Produced Water Society (PWS) conference in Midland, Texas. The TD-560 expands on the robust feature set of the TD-550. In addition to the TD-550's optical channel for detecting crude and other heavy oils, the TD-560 adds a second channel for detecting lighter hydrocarbons such as BTEX, gas condensates, gasoline, jet fuel, kerosene, transformer oils, styrene and phenol. Both of these oil in water analyzers offer a greatly enhanced detection range (low ppb to 5000 ppm) compared with the competition.
Based on the successes of the TD-3100 and TD-500D, the TD-550/560 adds many new features and capabilities, including an easy to use touchscreen, onboard instuctions and documentation, graphing capabilities and storage for multiple calibrations and site locations. In addition to oil in water analysis, the TD-550/560 handles oil in soil and sand and drilling mud measurements.
The Produced Water Society Permian Basin conference will feature 16 presentations on stage, including infrastructure issues, the midstream sector and technical water treatment. The conference takes place at the Horseshoe Arena Pavilion, Midland, Texas, August 8 and 9. Visit this link for more on the conference agenda and special roundtable sessions.
