Various versions for testing filter media with the established MMTC 2000 test system in accordance with VDI 3926 type 2 available

The operational conditions in the system such as the particle size distribution, the profile and material of the dust feed, the inflow speed of the medium, the composition and temperature of the carrier gas and the manner of compressed air cleaning have a considerable effect on the service life and the separation characteristics of a filter element. So, the manufacturer specially selects the filter materials used for specific applications in order to ensure optimum filtration and cleaning behaviour. To be able to realize these application-related process conditions in filter media testing, Palas supplies various versions for testing filter media with the established MMTC 2000 test system in accordance with VDI 3926 type 2:

  • MMTC 2000 E: version with channel made of stainless steel for temperatures up to 70 °C
  • MMTC 2000 EH: version heatable to 250 °C

New:

  • MMTC 2000 EHF: version heatable to 250 °C and rel. humidity adjustable up to 80 % at a test temperature of 90 °C
