Corporate Knights Magazine is hosting a series of Energy Roundtables to support the development of visionary energy policy options for the whole of Canada.
The next in the Corporate Knights E3 Canadian Roundtables will take place in Vancouver on Friday February 18, 2011 at the Pan Pacific Hotel.
It will feature CBC television's Evan Solomon, host of the series Power & Politics on the CBC News Network, and a series of panellists who will discuss the need for a big picture approach on defining the key principles for a viable Canadian energy strategy that leverages our unique energy endowments.
Chairing this free public event will be Toby Heaps, President, Corporate Knights Inc., who will be joined with panelists Chief Kim Baird, Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN), Donald McInnes, CEO, Plutonic Power Corporation, Adriane Carr, Deputy Leader, Green Party of Canada, Chris Henderson, President, Lumos Energy, and David Demers, CEO, Westport Innovations.
As noted on the E3 Canadian Roundtable website, it is time to recognize the importance that Canadians place on energy, the environment and the economy. These are not isolated entities, but mainstays of modern society, and Canada needs a bold, innovative and pragmatic approach to energy that aligns these issues.
Corporate Knights invites the public to attend the E3 Roundtable on February 18, 2011 - 17.00 - 19.00, Ocean View suites 6-8, Pan Pacific, 300-999 Canada Place, Vancouver.
There is no charge to attend this event, but space is limited so please reserve early.
