U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Andrew Brosnan Joins Element Markets in Newly Created Corporate Strategy Role

Element Markets announced today that Andrew (Andy) Brosnan will join the company in the newly formed position of Director of Corporate Strategy. In his role, Mr. Brosnan will lead the continued development of growth opportunities across the biogas, emissions, carbon, and low carbon fuel markets.
Mr. Brosnan has had a distinguished career in the United States military, receiving two Bronze Stars for leadership in combat during Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan, first as a platoon leader in the 75th Ranger Regiment and then as a company commander with the 25th Infantry Division. Andy’s final assignments were in Africa, as the Senior Defense Official / Defense Attaché at US Embassy Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and most recently as the Army Attaché at US Embassy Pretoria, South Africa.
Prior to his postings in Africa, Mr. Brosnan served as Assistant Professor of International Relations at the US Military Academy, West Point, where he taught undergraduate courses in Advanced International Relations and International Conflict and Negotiation. He presented his research on conflict and development to Pentagon officials and led a team of West Point cadets to Ghana, where they advised women entrepreneurs on the creation and execution of business strategy.

Mr. Brosnan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, a Master in Public Policy degree from Harvard Kennedy School, and is completing his Master in Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
