Visit LG Sonic Algae Control at Aquatech Amsterdam 2017
From October 31 – November 3, LG Sonic will exhibit at Aquatech Amsterdam 2017 to showcase its latest solution to control and monitor algal blooms. By using ultrasound technology, LG Sonic offers an environmentally friendly solution to control algae and prevent new algae growth. LG Sonic will exhibit at booth 01.136.Ultrasonic algae control technology
To control and monitor algae in lakes, drinking water reservoirs, cooling towers and other applications, LG Sonic developed an environmentally friendly technology to control algae by making use of ultrasound technology. The ultrasonic sound waves reduce algae up to 90% and allow for a reduction of chemical usage and operational costs.Control and monitor algae with the MPC-Buoy
The MPC-Buoy is a floating, solar-powered system that combines real-time water quality monitoring and ultrasonic sound waves to control algae in lakes and reservoirs effectively. Each MPC-Buoy system has a treatment range of 500m/1600ft in diameter. Multiple systems can be installed to treat large water surfaces such as lakes and reservoirs. Since 2014, LG Sonic is running MPC-Buoy projects in more than 15 countries in among other countries, the United States, Colombia, Singapore and New Zealand.
