In the end of March 2017, 22th Ukrainian Antarctic expedition left for Antarctica.

They are 12 scientists. These people are going to stay in ‘Academician Vernadsky’ Ukrainian Antarctic scientific station for one year, doing different researches of Antarctic environment.

Transient Technologies has provided the scientists with a new version of VIY3-300 ground penetrating radar (GPR). They are going to use it in ice and ground structure surveys.

This will be the second voyage of VIY radars to Antarctica.

We hope that our GPR will be a useful tool in their work!
