Alexandria, Virginia -- The Water Environment Federation (WEF) announces the launch of a new and improved WEF Buyer’s Guide, a comprehensive content driven professional network of water sector services, solutions and products.
“Beginning as a simple directory listing, the WEF Buyer’s Guide has evolved along with the growing needs of our members and the entire water sector,” said WEF Executive Director Eileen O’Neill. “Coming from a trusted resource like WEF, this new fully integrated content platform gives water professionals one place to research and make connections with the companies, services, solutions and products that will help them best address the water issues affecting their communities.”
Now operated and serviced exclusively by WEF, the revamped guide is designed for user-engagement through a convenient, easily accessible format. A newly implemented platform supports interactive company profiles such as video integration, white papers, case studies, company news feeds, and more. The profiles also include social media integration with live Twitter feeds and a LinkedIn preview that allows users to see how they are connected to the companies.
With nearly 600 companies and growing, the guide will continue to change as needed to reflect current industry trends, hot topic issues, and sustainable management practices. The current range of topics include: air quality and pollution control; biosolids/sludge; chemicals/chemical handling equipment; coatings/sealants/corrosion; computer hardware/software; monitoring/controlling/sampling/analysis; pipe/collections systems; process equipment/treatment systems; pumps/valves; services; tanks; and water/wastewater optimization.
