Water quality monitoring: the airmoPURGE
Source: Chromatotec Group
Why measure volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in water?
Water quality is one of preoccupations of all populations. Water is a consumer good and its control is a necessity.
Chromatotec has developed a new option for this market: the “purge”. This solution is in compliance with US Environmental Protection Agency method 502.2
Chromatotec’s airmoPURGE.
This instrument extracts (“purge”), concentrates (“trap”), detects and quantifies VOCs after speciation thanks to the column.
The airmoPURGE solution is installed in a 33U cabinet and analyses 21 compounds from C6 to C12. The linear range is 0.5 to 20 μg/l and the method detection limit for BTEX is 0.05 μg/l.
Data are stored on the hard disk of the integrated computer. Our Vistachrom software controls the analyzer and presents the results.
The oven and the permeation tube allow unattended auto-calibration of the analyzer.
