Low Flow Groundwater Sampling Using RotaPump Inertial Lift Pump
This article tells you how to perform low flow groundwater sampling using a portable, surface-mounted pump with no decontamination required before each use and no chance of cross contamination between wells. An inertial lift pump moves a dedicated (stored in the well) pumping tube rapidly up and down. A one-way valve on the bottom admits water on the down stroke and retains water on the upstroke.
