VOC Vapor Intrusion Mitigation: Reducing Risk & Liability
It is a growing concern around the nation that VOC vapor intrusion poses the potential for substantial cost and liability for site owners. Regulatory agencies recognize the increasing threat VOC vapor intrusion poses to human health and are subsequently developing more stringent regulations and guidance for mitigation measures. With the increasing number of options available for VOC vapor mitigation systems, certain questions remain critically important: Will the vapor mitigation method effectively control the risk of VOC vapor migration in addition to providing long-term protection against future liability?
