The ANATERGOARM TMA-500 is an advanced assisted-manipulator for handling loads up to 500kg in hydroelectric turbines for handling in complete safety. This equipment was used at Hydro-Quebec’s LG2 station to carry out breaking units from the turbine for repairs, and can be used for any handling and manipulation tasks in the turbine. 

Its snake-arm design makes it perfect for work in tight spaces, as it moves around multiple obstacles while carrying loads. A single user pushes the arm with a payload in the desired direction effortlessly and without power consumption, and the arm moves up and down at the push of a button. The system can be transported, stored and deployed by a single user.
