In 2021 Eliopig installed a 500 Scm/hr biomethane plant feeding the gas into the grid.
The plant consists of two primary digesters (Ø26 m, h.8m) with four mixers each, and two secondary digesters (Ø30 m,h.8m) with three mixers each. The liquid biomasses are stored in two pre-tanks, while the solid matters are put in two hoppers with a system to chop them up, mix them with the liquid part and then both conveyed in the primary digesters. The digestate is then sent through piping to the separator, which divides the liquid part from the solid part, that can be used as an organic fertilizer. Eliopig installed a technical room provided with a PLC with a software able to manage the entire plant. » View more |
