The customer needed to improve their cocoa butter filtration process as it required frequent spare parts and costly change overs, causing downtime and loss of productivity.

THE SOLUTION
Amafilter® advised the customer to install 3 Cricketfilters® automated systems perfectly suited to cocoa butter filtration as the filter cloths were developed specifically for this application.

THE RESULTS
Once the Cricketfilter® was installed, maintenance interventions were no longer needed at every shift to replace parts. Filter cloths were replaced only every 6 to 9 months, reducing maintenance interventions by around 45%.
