Markland`s Meter offers real-time knowledge of sludge/silt concentrations in pipes, tanks & clarifiers, and automates sludge removal. Its non-intrusive, ultrasonic sensor provides continuous %SS readings of primary, secondary, return-activated and backwash sludge, allowing users to program underflow pumps to shut off before sludge density becomes too thin, and helping operators optimize polymer dosing, for preferred feed density and enhanced de-watering. Readings are not affected by colour.
