The electrolysis system CHLORINSITU® III generates sodium hypochlorite with a concentration of 20-25 g/l without any significant leakage of sodium chloride from the electrolysis cell into the finished product. The pH value of the water being treated is affected substantially less than when conventional sodium hypochlorite is used (pH 12-13.5) owing to the moderate pH value (approx. 9).
