US climate bill expected this month
Congress returns from its two week spring break this week with speculation mounting that the long-awaited draft climate change bill could be unveiled to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22. Sources within the environmental sector told Reuters that the compromise bill, which has been developed a Democrat Senator John Kerry, Republican Lindsey Graham and independent Joe Lieberman, could be launched just a few days ahead of the annual day of campaigning.
