EPA Finalizes Revisions to Clean Air Standards for Stationary Engines
Today, in compliance with settlement agreements, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized revisions to standards to reduce air pollution from stationary engines that generate electricity and power equipment at industrial, agricultural, oil and gas production, power generation and other facilities. The United States Global Change Research Program today released its draft National Climate Assessment, just days after the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration affirmed that 2012 was the hottest year ever in the continental United States.
