Ormat successfully completed the Ngatamariki Geothermal Plant
Ormat Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ORA) announced today that it has successfully completed the 100 MW installed capacity Ngatamariki geothermal power plant in New Zealand under the $142 million Supply and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts signed with Mighty River Power (MRP) in June 2011. Expectations on the growth and deployment of renewable energy vastly exceed actual growth of green energy, says Dr. Bjorn Lomborg, Director of the Copenhagen Consensus Center.
