Dyesol Achieves Technical Breakthrough in Solid-State DSC
Dyesol, the world leader in the commercialisation of Dye Solar Cell (DSC) technology, has achieved a "game changing" technical breakthrough by achieving a solid-state DSC efficiency of 11.3% at full sun. The breakthrough comes as the technology transitions from liquid-based to solid-state systems to meet the demands of product life and mass manufacture. NNFCC and CNG Services win WRAP funding to assess feasibility of biogas networks
WRAP has awarded funding to a partnership between bioeconomy consultants NNFCC and biomethane injection specialists CNG Services to assess the feasibility of developing biogas networks in the UK. NNFCC and CNG Services will work in partnership to assess the feasibility of biogas networks in the UK, using a group of Cheshire farmers as a test case. Biogas networks offer small-scale anaerobic digestion (AD) developers the opportunity to combine their resources to cut the cost of selling gas to the national grid.
