New York governor encourages unique clean coal plant
New York Governor David Paterson Tuesday announced that the state would offer up to US$6 million in financial support for construction of a coal-fired power demonstration plant in Jamestown that will be the first of its kind in the world. The Jamestown coal plant would burn coal in pure oxygen instead of air.
