Solar Trust of America, LLC (Solar Trust), a leading industrial solar solutions company, today announced in a press teleconference with Secretary Steven Chu and Governor Jerry Brown that the U.S. Department of Energy offered a conditional commitment for a $2.1 billion loan guarantee to support the construction of two 242 Megawatt (MW) concentrated solar thermal power plants.
