Evergreen Energy Launches Private Beta Testing of EMIT to the Carbon Information and Content Community
Evergreen Energy Inc. (NYSE Arca: EEE), a green energy technology solutions company, deployed, on a limited basis, the private beta version of its GreenCert™ EMIT (Emissions Monitoring Inventory Tracking), a software as a service (SaaS) offering. EMIT will be generally available to the public in the third quarter, 2010.

Ethanol industry blasts EPA for testing delay
Renewable fuel advocates have slammed the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) after it delayed a decision to increase the amount of ethanol permitted for use in vehicles.
The Agency announced last week that it is to delay the testing of higher-ratio ethanol blends in gasoline until September.
The testing would have potentially allowed the EPA to satisfy a waiver request that would allow the blending of up to 15 per cent ethanol in conventional gasoline, up from the 10 per cent currently allowed.
