Additional substances assessed under the chemicals management plan
The Government of Canada has released the final screening assessment reports, and, where applicable, the proposed risk management approach documents for 14 substances assessed in Batch 7 of the Chemicals Management Plan.

Health to be at the centre of the fight against climate change
The danger and cost of climate change to the health of Europeans is at the forefront of the debate as the fifth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Health begins this week in Parma, Italy.
The conference, organised by the World Health Organisation, will include representatives from across Europe and is an important forum on how to tackle cross-cutting environment and health issues such as climate change.
