Nuclear power after Fukushima
The future of nuclear power was bleak even before the Fukushima disaster, said energy expert Mycle Schneider Wednesday at a press conference in Berlin, where he previewed an upcoming Worldwatch Institute report on the outlook of nuclear power. “The industry was arguably on life support before Fukushima. EPA Takes Action on Two Potentially Harmful Chemicals
Last week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced actions on two chemicals to reduce harm to people. Under the Toxic Substance Act the EPA, “has released action plans to address the potential health risks of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), toluene diisocyanate (TDI), and related compounds.
