Caribbean region needs a tsunami warning centre
Caribbean countries urgently need a regional tsunami warning centre to protect their densely populated coastlines, according to an article in Science today. There has been significant effort over the past six years to improve tsunami preparedness, but more funds and research are needed to cut the detection time and ensure people know what to do if a tsunami strikes in this vulnerable region, it says. Boréalis two year joint venture with DWS leads to launch of Brisbane-based BD Consulting
Canadian company Boréalis, with a Brisbane-based office, announced today that after two years of successful partnering with DWS Ltd (DWS), a new Australian-based company has been established. The new company, BD Consulting, delivers consulting services to mining, oil and gas companies.
