U.S. environmental industry grows to $312 billion in revenues
Recovery in the U.S. environmental industry is slightly ahead of the economy at large, but growth is still painstakingly slow, and environmental executives have tempered their expectations for the second half of 2011, according to Environmental Business Journal`s Annual Industry Overview. Clean tech project finance hits $50bn quarterly record
Global project financing for clean tech projects reached a record high of nearly $50bn during the third quarter of the year, according to new figures from analyst firm Clean Energy Pipeline. The company said that clean tech project financing volumes hit $49.9bn, up 50 per cent year on year and 15 per cent on the second quarter of 2011.
