A controversial mining project in British Columbia raises questions about the need for a single environmental assessment process throughout Canada.  The Prosperity Gold Copper Mine, a project of Vancouver-based Taseko Mines Ltd., is a proposed open-pit mine located 125 kilometres southwest of Williams Lake, B.C.
