Sony plans for zero footprint future
Sony has released a new plan which it hopes will dramatically cut its environmental footprint. The company said that the plan would cover the next 40 years, seeking to bring the company to what it calls a `zero environmental footprint` status by the year 2050. The plan would cover carbon emissions as well as the use of non-renewable materials in is products and manufacturing.  To kick off the long-term plan, Sony has set short term goals starting next year.
