Deepwater Wind Energy Center to be Nation’s First Regional Offshore Wind Farm to Supply Multiple East Coast States
DWEC would be nation’s largest offshore wind farm, bolstering the East Coast offshore-wind industry and job creation potential. Deepwater Wind today announced its plans to construct the Deepwater Wind Energy Center (DWEC), the first of the “second generation” of offshore wind farms in the United States.

The Zayed Future Energy Prize, today announced the top 40 entries to compete for the 2011 Prize. The Prize is the most prestigious and internationally recognised award for innovation, performance and leadership in sustainable and renewable energy projects.
