Scaled-up investments in sustainable cities crucial for improved resource efficiency and poverty eradication

Indian city launches first-ever heat wave preparation and warning system
The Indian city of Ahmedabad launched a first-of-its-kind Heat Action Plan today, making it the first city in South Asia to create a comprehensive early warning system and preparedness plan for extreme heat events fueled by climate change.
