Q-Lab’s Brad Reis Elected as Chair of ASTM Subcommittee on Paints & Coatings

Q-Lab is pleased to announce that Mr. Brad Reis was recently elected as Chairman of ASTM’s Subcommittee D01.27. This group focuses on accelerated testing for paints and coatings.

Brad has been serving as temporary chair of this subcommittee since June 2013. He is an active member of numerous ASTM committees and subcommittees, and has been involved in a number of working groups for the revision of various standards. His work for ASTM includes being in charge of the working group responsible for the release of ASTM D7869, a modern practice for accelerated weathering of transportation coatings.
