SGS soil testing lab in Voronezh has been accredited
The Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Russian Federation accredited the new agrochemical laboratory at SGS Vostok Limited, the Russian subsidiary of SGS, for technical competence and independence. The accreditation scope includes soils and crops (wheat, rye, barley, oats, maize, buckwheat, millet, pea, sunflower and rape). The accreditation certificate РОСС RU.0001.21ПШ82 was awarded on December 30, 2009 and will be valid for five years. Testing by a qualified laboratory can ease asbestos fears
The use of asbestos has been banned from most products in the United States now for a number of years.
