U.S. environmental industry grows to $312 billion in revenues
Recovery in the U.S. environmental industry is slightly ahead of the economy at large, but growth is still painstakingly slow, and environmental executives have tempered their expectations for the second half of 2011, according to Environmental Business Journal`s Annual Industry Overview. The U.S. environmental industry grew 3.1% in 2010 to $312 billion, according to EBJ research, an estimate based on proprietary industry surveys and in-depth interviews with leading executives and experts in the field.
