EPA submits draft hydraulic fracturing study plan to independent scientists for review
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today submitted its draft study plan on hydraulic fracturing for review to the agency’s Science Advisory Board (SAB), a group of independent scientists. Work begins on new flood defence schemes
39 new flood and coastal defence projects have been announced as part of Government plans to reduce the risk of flooding and coastal erosion in England. Of these new projects 21 will provide additional protection to over 13,000 households at risk of flooding.
