Horizontal Remediation Wells – Installation, design and services since 1993
Directional Technologies, Inc. installed nearly 2,000 feet of horizontal wells to remediate subsurface releases from a retail petroleum facility in Florida. The horizontal wells were installed from one location adjacent to a four-way multi-lane intersection of two extremely busy highways. Business operation was not interrupted and there was no need to shut down highway lanes or restrict traffic flow. Remediation efforts over the previous ten years were unsuccessful in resolving the subsurface contamination issues. The horizontal remediation wells are rapidly resolving the problem and it is expected that clean-up goals will be achieved in two years. For More Project Summaries
