Earthsoft announces commercial release of the new EQuIS for AutoCAD
EarthSoft announced today the commercial release of the new EQuIS for AutoCAD module. EQuIS for AutoCAD will generate advanced environmental and geotechnical graphics within AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map or AutoCAD Civil, from EQuIS Schema databases and EQuIS Professional.Many EarthSoft clients have requested AutoCAD integration to streamline their graphics production and workflows. U.S. EPA Reaches $2 Million Settlement with 290 Parties to Further Clean Santa Barbara County Toxic Dump Site
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today announced a $2 million settlement with 290 small parties, called de minimis parties, for the Casmalia Resources Superfund Site (CRSS). It is a former hazardous waste disposal facility that accepted approximately 5.6 billion pounds of waste from nearly 10,000 generators between 1973 and 1989. This is the ninth in a series of de minimis settlements at the site. CRSS is located approximately 10 miles southwest of the City of Santa Maria in Santa Barbara County.
