Snow disrupts waste collections
Bad weather conditions have affected waste collections across the country and media reports suggest that some householders have not had their waste and recycling collected for up to five weeks as refuse collectors are unable to reach homes because of the snow.
Harts District Council apologised to residents who had their recycling bins emptied into refuse vehicles. A spokesman said: �In order to catch up with the backlog of missed collections, a decision was made to clear everything we could in one go rather than leaving bins lying around.
