Obama Administration announces up to US$32m initiative to expand hydropower
US Department of Energy Secretary Steven Chu this week announced up to $32 million in Recovery Act funding to modernize the existing hydropower infrastructure in the U.S., increase efficiency, and reduce environmental impact. Thames Water`s London On Tap campaign, which promotes tap water across the capital, was this week awarded a `Big Tick` from Business in the Community, the UK`s most influential, independent, peer-assessed corporate responsibility awards.
