Texas Sands Resources Partnership (TSRP) Turns Oilfield Wastewater Into Fresh Water
Texas Sands Resources Partnership (TSRP), a new group which has brought together ERIN Consulting, Nu-H20 New Water and Sandbox Energy Corporation (USA), is pleased to announce it has completed successful field testing of a groundbreaking process which transforms produced oilfield wastewater into usable, fresh water. Their innovation will improve the oil extraction process, reducing wastewater and wastewater transportation and enhancing formation water for re-injection, thereby reviving fields which have previously been deemed uneconomical due to wastewater handling issues. AWWA announces updates to two Manuals of Practice
The American Water Works Association (AWWA) has announced updated editions to two of its Manuals of Water Supply Practices: Water Meters - Selection, Installation, Testing, and Maintenance (M6) and Computer Modeling of Water Distribution Systems (M32). Accurate water metering is the means by which water utilities produce revenue to cover expenses and equitably charge customers.
