Miox is eliminating water contamination by inorganic disinfection byproducts
MIOX awarded $150,000 Phase I National Science Foundation SBIR research grant to develop technologies that will impact municipal water treatment and groundwater remediation market verticals. MIOX Corporation, a leader in innovative electrochemical water treatment technologies, announced it has received a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the amount of $150,000. Wastewater treatment and conservation at Eaton’s Toccoa aerospace site earn industrial plant of the year honors
Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation’s aerospace facility in Toccoa, Ga., was honored recently by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals as the industrial 2011 Plant of the Year for outstanding operation of industrial pollution control in indirect wastewater discharge for physical and chemical pretreatment. The association also recognized Eaton’s facility for water conservation.
