Solar-Powered Oil Skimmer Works at Remote Locations
Abanaki’s Oil Grabber® Model 8 now “runs with the sun” and removes oil from wastewater at locations far from electric service, such as mine sites and remote corners of steel mills, food processing plants, and rail yards. Applying the Model 8’s field-proven success at removing oil, grease, and light fuels from water, the solar-powered version provides a continuous belt and wiper to remove up to 40 gallons of oil per hour. Abanaki also has solar powered skimmers for groundwater remediation. See animated demo.
